Paradigm Systems Development is honored to have
had its work be recognized by NASIRE, an association of the
Chief Information Officers of each state.
A program written by Paradigm Systems Development
was cited by the state of California as the best administrative
application program in the state. This program was selected
to represent California against stiff national competition. The
National Association of State Information Resource Executives
(NASIRE) received 50 nominations from 19 states for awards in
nine categories. Paradigm Systems' Risk Assessment Model
(RAM), developed with California's Department of Information Technology,
won the award for administrative applications.
The RAM is a software tool that assists state IT
project managers and oversight analysts to identify those risk
factors that can anticipate project success or failure. Prior
to the creation of the RAM, no tool existed in the state to gauge
and quantify the risk associated with IT projects. The RAM has
enabled California's Department of Information Technology to implement
a level of project oversight that is unprecedented in the history
of the state's IT investment.
